One person would bring a beer to the table pour tastes for the rest. They have to guess the style...it's very challenging way to drink beer, we have really gotten ourselves hooked on it. I have been to some wine tastings at my locl Binny's that have used a blind taste method. It was similar to what Charlie said though- They went around with 1 bottle with the label covered and everyone tried it and then moved onto the next. It was very informative to help distinguish wines... Second on the beers listed to try: Charlie, These beers sound like something I might like. Was hoping to not leaving anybody out. One time when I had friends over, five of us managed to blind tase wine using a protocol that one guy directed and I subsequently forgot. We each had some sort of labeling task that left us singlely in the dark, but that we could stitch together afterward. I thought maybe the protocol was common knowledge in tasting circles, but maybe not. I've tried to work out what we did that night, but so far no good. Maybe cozies are simpler. I suppose that with a blind grab into the fridge. a person could double blind taste on their own. Hmmm … Was hoping to not leaving anybody out.
